About Anon. Anon. is one of New Zealand's leading vocal ensembles. Formed as a male voice sextet in October 1996 they performed as part of the 1996 and 1997 Remembrance wreathlayings in the presence of His Excellency Sir Michael Hardie Boys, the then Governor-General, as well as making their debut concert at the National War Memorial in November 1996. By the end of 1997 the group had expanded both its repertoire and membership by becoming a mixed voice ensemble - a format the group still retains! Since then Anon. have performed sixteen Wellington concerts as well as singing in Nelson in 1998 and Taupo in 2001. Anon. in 2003 will perform in varied numbers from 3 - 10 voices depending on requirements. The group considers itself lucky to be able to draw on the talents of a number of excellent Wellington singers thus enabling the performance of larger scale works and ensuring continued variety of sound and programming. A full list of previous members is included on the Bio Notes page. Our last performance 'A Concert of Remembrance' formed part of the 2003 ANZAC Day commemorations.
